055 Catch It, Mom.jpg

These three Grizzly cubs were watching their mom catch fish.  Even though these cubs are old enough to eat the fish, mom would keep the catch for herself unless one of the cubs could steal the scraps away from her.  Then all the cubs would fight over the scraps, and mom would go catch another fish.The bear with the mom is not the father.  Male bears, called boars, are a danger to the cubs and mother grizzlies do not allow them too close.  The bear near the mom is probably another female.  Perhaps an aunt.
