Each fall I venture out to find brilliant colors that tease the film in my camera. Many people travel eastward to see and photograph the New England autumn, but I prefer the golden leaves of the Aspen. Aspen groves are not made up of individual trees but are connected to one another by the root system. One grove in the Rockies is considered the largest living thing in the world.
